About Me.

BIO
Olivia Garcia was born in El Paso, Texas 1993. She found love through storytelling in grade school, her first story was written through elements of Horror. At 13 years old, Olivia spent her time with the Teen Advisory Board educating other teenagers about Safe Sex and STD Prevention. She was featured in the news to promote Teen Palooza, where she spoke on a podium about Teen Pregnancy. She also would counsel parents of the teenagers on how to speak to their teen about sensitive topics.
After graduating from Eastwood High School, she attended El Paso Community College, working three jobs to support her education. She enrolled herself in Introduction to Creative Writing. She observed author Alicia Gasper de Alba's seminar, in which she found inspiration for the path of a writer. She transferred to the University of El Paso to pursue Creative Writing. She wrote scripts, short stories, and poetry while analyzing novels. She partook in a collaborative novel titled Segundo Barrio led by Sylvia Aguilar. She graduated in 2020. During lockdown, she pursued her MFA in Creative Writing at Full Sail University.
She directly was pulled into Video Game dialogue, she met the audio engineers from The Last of Us. She excelled in her studies, and with her consent Professors used her writing for exemplary pursuits. Olivia uncovered her rhythm in storytelling by listening to music. In High School, Olivia became active in her local Punk Rock Scene. In her adulthood, Olivia harbored her love for music by connecting with a band named Severkit, as a songwriter and lead vocalist. Their first performance hosted Donations to the Humane Society of El Paso.
Olivia today; is still writing, she is also actively pursuing her education by obtaining certifications i.e Technical Writing. She is open to work.
